Ink and Glitter!

I fancied getting messy with Distress Inks and my favourite Penny Black stamp and ,well, just playing really!  Here's the result.
To create the background for the topper, I splodged some Antique Linen, Mustard Seed, Worn Lipstick and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks, direct from the pads, onto my nonstick craft mat, then sprayed with water.  I then swirled a piece of watercolour paper into the wet ink, and once fully covered, I dried with my heat tool.
The next step was to stencil dandelion heads onto the inked background, which I did with a metal, Sweet Poppy, stencil using Worn Lipstick and Mustard Seed DIs.  Once again I spritzed with water, this time I blotted with kitchen paper and then dried fully with my heat tool.
I wanted to inject a bit more bright pink, so I went round the edges with Picked Raspberry DI, then gave the whole thing a light spray with Perfect Pearls Shimmer Spray in Bronze, and once again dried with my heat tool.
To create a border, I used two tiny See Dees foliage stamps, inked with Walnut Stain Distress Ink, which I used to stamp all round the edges of the topper.
The main image is my all time favourite stamp, it's a Penny Black, with the slightly baffling name of Flying Stars.  I love it because it's so versatile, it can be used for so many techniques, this time I've stamped it in black, then highlighted areas of it with Glamour Dust and Stampendous Gold Halo Mix, along with gold and silver gems and three, weeny, punched butterflies with pearl centres.
The papers are Basic Grey kissing Booth, to which I've added chocolate brown and bright yellow cardstock for matting.
To finish off, I've added some oddments of ribbon for interest and texture.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -

Card Crafter's Circle - #77 - Stripe Me Silly
