Confession number....er....I've lost count! Anyway, I have to confess to having bought these lovely, new Papermania, Ahoy There papers. I think these will be perfect for those tricky male cards, especially ones for my Dad as he's a big fan of anything nautical. This card, however, would probably be better suited to someone considerably younger than my sixty nine year old father!
The image is from Bugaboo and was a freebie a couple of weeks ago, I've coloured it with Promarkers (no surprise there!).
The papers, as mentioned above are Papermania, I inked the edges with Faded Jeans Distress Ink. The sentiment was made with a Go Create die, part of a Boo the Bear dress up set, it accompanies a pirate costume.
To embellish, I layered red and white baker's twine on navy blue ribbon and finished with buttons.
