A Bird in the Hand is Worth Two in the Bush!

Ok, I admit it, I'm becoming obsessed with these Artemio bird stamps!  There are so many lovely birdies in the set the possibilities are endless.  I've stamped the birds in black Memento and coloured with promarkers.  I then die cut them with nesties and inked the edges with Antique Linen Distress Ink.
The yummy papers are magazine freebies.  They have such a lovely, soft vintage look to them.
I was itching to try out my new mini sewing machine so I did some messy stitching round the edge to add to the shabby look.
The sentiment stamp is from a Papermania Urban set, one of the new travel sets, which I've stamped onto patterned paper.
I made a lacy strip with a Martha Stewart punch and added some ribbon and a bow.
The flowers were made with a Nellie Snellen punch set which is worth it's weight in gold, I use it so much, and the leafy branch was made with a Marianne die.  It's actually a bird on a branch but I cut the bird off so I could just use the branch.
A handful of pearls finish it off.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Raise the Bar - #97 - in the garden
Papercrafting Journey - #5 - pretty pastels

  2. Oh my, this is just gorgeous. I love the way you describe what you use to make the card - would love a peek at your craft room. It sounds like you have everything imaginable to hand. When I see people's craft rooms and see the boxes and boxes of goodies, and yards of ribbon, I feel quite restrained with my few bits and pieces.
