Monday night was, of course, craft night and this week the theme was handmade flowers. There was no homebake this week, I was too busy enjoying the last day of the school holidays! We went on a picnic and for a walk in the grounds of Brodie Castle on what turned out to be the only sunny, dry day of the holidays. Back to pouring rain today!
The image is a Lili of the Valley stamp, coloured with Promarkers and highlighted with a touch of Diamond Stickles.
The flowers were all made form Centura Pearl paper using Spellbinders Bitty Blossoms (thanks for the loan Mum!) and Nellie Snellen punches.
The sentiment is also Lili of the Valley from a lovely set of circular sentiments. I thought this one would be perfect for a wedding and a change from the usual congratulations sentiments.
Two of the the layers were embossed with different Cuttlebug folders and one was punched with a Papermania Moroccan style punch.
I finished off with some Habico hearts and a sprinkling of iridescent gems.
