We All Scream For Ice Cream!

The crafty girls and I had our usual craft session last night and we all made paper pieced ice cream cones.  The idea came from Quick Cards Made Easy although we didn't use the templates given.  We started the evening with homemade squidgy chocolate and raspberry brownies and a cuppa before setting to work with paper, scissors and dies.
For the cone, I die cut a triangle with an Xcut die and embossed it with an Embossiblities folder to add a wafer-like texture.  I made a template for the ice cream part and drew round it onto pink and yellow card.  After cutting out, I embossed the pieces with two different folders to add interest.  The sprinkles on the top are seed beads in four different varieties.
The papers are Pink Petticoat and were a magazine freebie ages ago.  The pearl cardstock is from Create and Craft.
The sentiment was from a magazine freebie set as well.
The lace punch is my favourite Martha Stewart border punch.
Some ribbon, a bow, gems, Liquid Pearls and some Diamond Stickles provide the finishing touches.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Tammy's Scrapping Corner - #5 - anything goes with embossing
Delicious Doodles - #16 - textures
DRS Designs - #19 food and drink
Anything Goes - #64 - anything goes
