90th Birthday

I made this card for my great aunt Nan who's just turned ninety.  It'll be a bit belated as I didn't know it was her birthday let alone such a big milestone but I know she'll appreciate a handmade card.
I was a bit naughty and bought a fair bit of new stash when the new Docrafts stuff came out last week, including these gorgeous Lucy Cromwell papers.  I also went halfers on the Lucy Cromwell collector's pack with a friend so this project is an explosion of pretty pastels.


I saw this style of card being demonstrated on Create and Craft and was keen to have a go.  It's made with two 6x6 card blanks and was really fun to do.
The numbers were cut on my Cricut and the bunting was made with a Stampin' Up punch, decorated with tiny flowers made with an Xcut punch.
The butterflies were made with a Martha Stewart punch lent to me my my lovely, crafty friend Alison.
Some wide lace and more than a hint of Glamour Dust finish it off.


I added a die cut sentiment and some ribbon to the inside of the card.
