I went with faux stitching for my card, my poor pokey tool is suffering from severe exhaustion after all that pricking!
The image is, of course, from Saturated Canary and is one of Krista's generous freebies. She's been coloured with Promarkers and the balloon's been glittered for a touch of bling.
The papers I've used are Blueberry Hill from Papermania. I've had them aaaaaggges, but I still enjoy using them as they're so pretty. The flowers at the bottom right were simply fussy cut from one of the papers in the stack, pricked with a pokey tool, then I joined the holes with a red fineliner to give an applique effect. The same red stitching was added to all the layers. I stamped a Papermania sentiment onto patterned paper and die cut it with a Spellbinders Swatch die to add to the fabric look.
I finished off with some buttons, some butterflies cut with an Xcut die and some Pearl Pen for the butterfly trails.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
I Love Promarkers - #120 - for a little girl
Creative Inspirations Paint - butterflies
Allsorts - #158 - ice cream colours
Crafty Calendar - flowers in bloom
Crafty Ann's - #67 - it's a girl thing

Can You Digi It - #11 - button it up
