Flowers for a Fiftieth

I made this card for my lovely friend, Anna-Maria's, fiftieth birthday.  She's a very keen gardener and florist so it just had to have flowers on it.
The stamp is Dog roses by Woodware and has been coloured with Pro and Flexmarkers.  I decided to go with the bright and pretty colours of a summer garden for this project, any opportunity to use my limited edition Promarkers, they're just so yummy, especially Pink Lobster, my new favourite colour!  I highlighted the centres of the flowers with some yellow glitter flock to give that fluffy rose centre effect.
Pink and green is probably my all time favourite colour combo, so I was delighted with the scrummy paper stack and ribbons which came free with Cardmaking and Papercraft.
The centre of the garland was made by stamping the word "fifty" in black ink and then stamping with the Dog roses stamp in Shabby Shutters Distress Ink round the edges, finishing with some green Diamond Sparkles.
The flower on the stopper element was made with my Tim Holtz tattered Florals die and a Nellie Snellen stamen punch.  The punched border was done with a Martha Stewart punch.
Two ribbons, two bows and a handful of gems finish it off.
