Fussy and Fancy DT Card

Good morning blogland!  Today sees a new challenge over at Fussy and Fancy.  This time we want to see your swirls and flourishes.  That can be anything from stamps, to stickers, to die cuts, the list goes on.

This is a large card at 8x8 as the stamp is massive and didn't look right on anything smaller.  The stamp is and Indigo Blu stamp called Ella Bella and is a new addition to my ever expanding stamp collection.  I stamped her in Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Stampendous embossing enamel.  To make the image stand a little more, I went round the image with a silver Papermania pencil and added some shading.  The edges of the topper and large mat were sprinkled with the same Stampendous enamel and heat embossed for a shabby look.  It was impossible to capture the lustrous effect of the enamel with my camera, it looks so much better in real life.  The stamped flourishes were done with Rhonna Farrer stamps and heat embossed with gold powder.
I kept the layout simple so as not to detract from the stamping, just matting and layering with different finishes of cardstock.  Some wide lace, ribbon, a bow and four large grey pearls were all that was needed to finish it off.
