GDT Card for Beccy's Place

I've been lucky enough to be selected as a guest designer for Beccy's Place for the month of November, I'm so pleased as I'm a huge fan of Beccy's images.  She has a wonderful digi shop full of stunning images and lots of freebies too.  I often use her free stamps for my Digi Haven DT cards, so regular visitors will already know how much I like them!

Here's my first card for Beccy, the super cute image is available in the shop as of today.  I've coloured this sweet angel with Promarkers, adding a touch of Diamond Stickles on her wings for a bit of sparkle, and then got busy with my new SECC goodies to make up the card.  I used my new grand dies to make the blank and for the layers, along with my regular Spellbinders.  The papers are new too, they're from Lili of the Valley, a stack in the most gorgeous shades of wintery blue.  The sentiment is from a Papermania stamp set.  I couldn't use this image and not use these oh so cute fairy light embellishments which I've had in my stash for a wee while now.  I strung them on green craft wire and added a couple of tiny silver bows.  A white organza ribbon and bow along with some weeny blue pearls finish it off.

  20. Online gaming has quickly overtaken the world. People everywhere find it enjoyable, relaxing, competitive and even educational! There is something for everyone in the world of video games. This article has some suggestions on how to get more out of your online gaming experience.

Keep your computer updated and clear of junk. When playing video games, you will need to limit how many additional programs you install in order to free up enough memory for the games. Maintenance programs are also beneficial to keep your computer fresh and up-to-date. These programs will keep your computer running at its peak performance.

Are your kids' games age appropriate? This means you're going to need to look at the warnings on the backs of the games to figure out if they're a good fit for your kids. There are many games that actually promote violence; these you may need to steer clear of.

The biggest choice to make as you enter the world of gaming is: computer or wii? A lot of games come on many platforms, which gives you a lot of flexibility. But depending on the game, it might be best to play certain ones on a particular platform since it works best.

Should you have a wii repaired or just get a new one? If you break your system, then you should consider upgrading, not repairing it. That's because the cost you will incur from the repair could exceed the cost of purchasing a brand new system. Consider upgrading your current system, or check out an all new gaming system. You're going to have to get a new one eventually. You might as well do it now.

When playing side-scrolling 2D games, always check to the left to see if there are any hidden items or passageways. Don't overlook high ledges or walls that may have invisible entry points, either. Never feel silly when you check out strange areas of the game, you just might find something valuable.

Nowadays, many popular video games come with options to add downloadable content, or DLC. These are extras that you must pay for in order to expand the game. While it is nice to treat yourself to a great game, always be mindful of pricing. Add on DLC can add a staggering cost to the game.

If buying a game for a kid, make sure you solicit multiple opinions. There are many things that determine what is age appropriate. You should only buy the game after doing your research.

There are some educational computer games. These games are a safe bet for young children. Titles aimed at older children or adults often contain violence or other content unsuitable for children. Check out online reviews from other parents so you can discover appropriate games for your child. Purchase only these games.

Reserve games that are high in demand to ensure that you will get a copy. You may get special bonuses when ordering early. The bonuses could be some special features, outfits, or anything that could help you when it comes to playing. The only way you can get them is by ordering early.

Figure out how to operate the safety and parental controls of any gaming system that comes into your home. You can likely make adjustments that keep kids from viewing mature content. Some allow each gaming profile to be customized separately, allowing adults to enjoy games not meant for younger audiences.

You already know how much fun you can have playing online games. People from all over the world get great joy from online gaming. Now that you have had a chance to look through these tips, you probably feel that you understand a lot more about gaming. Good luck to you!
