I've just had a lovely crafternoon with my friend, Alison, playing with her new Lili of the Valley stamp. We both bought a geisha stamp at the SECC last month but made sure they were different so we could use each others, we decided to play with this beauty first, mine will have to wait!
The image was coloured with Promarkers to match the lush papers kindly given to me by Alison, the dragon border punch is her's as well, she's a handy girl to know! The Spellbinders Cheery Blossom dies are from my SECC haul, I think it's a set I'll get a lot of use from. I added some gold gem centres to the flowers for a subtle touch of bling. To finish my card, I used some burnt orange ribbon, a bow, some copper Card Candi and a coin charm.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Craftymess - #22 - choose a country, I chose Japan
Stamping With the Dragon - so cute
Frosted Designs - colour inspiration
Crafty Ann's - #78 - tic, tac toe - gems, ribbon, flowers
Craftroom Challenge - punches and die cuts
Papertake - flower power
Crafty Cardmakers - #79 - more than one punch/die cut. I used one punch, one Nestie and almost the whole Spellbinders Cherry Blossom set.
