Shabby Birdhouse

I've been at the Craftwork Cards Bohemian stuff again!  I had a blast making this birdhouse card, embellishing away to my heart's content!

I covered the shaped blank with patterned paper, inside and out and added some detail to the eaves, base and doorway with some beige textured pear card.  The little die cut birds were embossed with a music score embossing folder, then inked with Perfect Medium and heat embossed with Aged Rose Stampendous embossing enamel for a shabby chic look.  I then gave them pearl eyes and pretty pink tail feathers.  The flowers were made with punches and dies from patterned paper, I edged all the petals with a gold Promarker to pick out the flecks of gold in the embossing enamel.  I layered a die cut foiled sentiment onto a matching tag and topped it with a bow and flower.  I finished off with some large and small pearls and a scattering of purple gems.
