Happy Hedgehog

I ordered a bargain pack of Papermania Country Companions stuff from Docrafts last year and decided to get it out for a play again, this time using the lovely detailed layered die along with the papers.
The cute hedgie was cut from Core'dinations and gently sanded before being layered up and I added a hint of chalk to give him rosy cheeks and bead eyes.  The  paper pack has some pretty background scenes, I decided on this one as a backdrop to the character.  The sentiment is from a decoupage sheet in the same range that also came as part of my bundle for a tenner.
To finish off, I added some punched flowers and leaves, a ribbon and bow and some lavender pearls.
