Well, it's more of a happy shuffle really as I'm just getting over a four day migraine! I had a wonderful surprise from my postie on Friday, a massive box of DCWV paper packs which I won in a competition run by Quick Cards Made Easy. Entrants had to design a card along the theme of new year's resolutions and I was lucky enough to have been selected as one of the winners. I wasn't sure how well my card would go down as it's a bit tongue in cheek but I wanted to make something that would stand out.
I created a shaped easel with grand Spellbinders and used Papermania Happy Days papers to mat with.
The cocktail digi is from Graphicat, the chocolate cake is from Limited Runs and the Cupcake is from San's Designs, I coloured them all with Promarkers and highlighted with Ice Diamond, Glamour Dust and pink pearls. The sentiment was computer generated.
I added lots of punched stars and a sprinkling of yellow gems for a lively look. The bottle caps on the stopper element were fussy cut from the Happy Days paper and I finished it all off with a green gingham bow.
