"Bobbin" Along!

Last night was craft night with my friends and this week, after tea and chocolate chiffon cake with salted caramel buttercream and chocolate ganache, we all made sewing themed cards with these bobbin shaped card blanks that I picked up in the Craftwork Cards sale.
I coloured the blank with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress Inks then cut some hexagons with a Spellbinders die from Joanna Sheen Haberdashery papers for a patchwork look.  The dress form was made with a Tim Holtz die, I used two sizes of patterned doily to make the dress, a scrap of ribbon and lace with a tiny gem topped bow to trim, and a necklace of weeny pearls and a gem.  The sewing machine and scissors were cut with Spellbinders sewing elements dies and I finished my card with a scattering of buttons and gems.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Crafty Boots - old, new, borrowed, blue - the TH die is old, the buttons are new, the Sewing Element dies were borrowed from my Mum, blue denim paper
Cupcake Craft - #232 - sparkle
A Gem of a Challenge - #69 - button it
Allsorts - #196 - for a lady
Natalie and Amy's - #7 - die cuts
The Stamping Chef - bling
Created With Love - #31 - anything goes
Paper Playtime - #5 - anything goes
Tuesday Throwdown - #137 - lace and doilies
Papertake - anything goes
