I bought this sweet owlet stamp at the SECC last October and hadn't got round to inking it so I decided to get it out and get stamping. It's a Helz Cuppleditch Neighbourwood stamp that I got for the bargain price of £1, I think it's just so cute.
I coloured the image with Promarkers and went round the edges of the topper with Shabby Shutters and Walnut Stain Distress Inks. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.
The green patterned papers are Dovecraft Riverbank Revels, as are the flowers which I layered up and topped with a tiny patterned brad. I added in some brown wood grain and brown gingham cardstock compliment the rustic look.
To finish off I used some red gingham ribbon with a bow, some leaves made with an Xcut punch and some green gems.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Creative Moments - #12 - add a sentiment
Flutterby Wednesday - #231 - any winged creature
LEJ - #44 - winged things
Stamping Sensations - the great outdoors
Celebrate the Occasion - #1103 - spring
Crafty Sentiments - hello spring
Ladybug Crafts - springtime
CLP - #56 - sketch
Art Impressions - #104 - plaid, gingham or checks
Moving Along With The Times - spring is in the air
Merry Christmas to You All!
