Last night was craft night and after tea from my new ginormous teapot (thanks Donna for the best present ever!) and home made chocolate and honeycomb cup cakes (you'll find the recipe here), we all made cards using the new Papermania Home to Nest A4 Ultimate Pack.
I decided to make a card for my step-dad's birthday which is coming up this month. He loves feeding the birds and watching them in his garden, so I thought this image would be perfect for him.
I used two kraft blanks to make the easel and papers and sentiment toppers from the Ultimate Pack. I inked all the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.
The leafy border was made with a Martha Stewart punch and I finished off with four brown pearls.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Cards For Men - #9 - Animals (2 of the DT used bird images so I'm assuming birds count)
Lady Anne's - #2 - Easel Cards
Unstampabelles - #23 - Easel Cards
ABC - Tic, Tac, Toe - ribbon, punch, DPs
Paper Creator - #8 - One For The Boys
2 Sisters - #142 - Bingo - easel card, image, punch
Crafty Catz - #181 - Inspired by a Song - When the Red, Red Robin Comes Bob, Bob, Bobbin' Along
A Little Bit Crafty - Kraft It
Natalie and Amy's - #9 - Things With Wings
Moving Along With The Times - One For The Guys
Merry Christmas to You All!
