Cutie Pie DT Card - Paper Piecing

It's that time again when we have a new challenge for you at Cutie Pie, this fortnight our theme is "Paper Piecing".  It's a technique I really enjoy, so I had great fun making my card using a sweet Gorjuss stamp which hadn't seen ink for a while.  Our sponsors this time are Flat Friends, and Stamp and Create, pop on over to the Cutie Pie blog for more details.
After colouring the image with Promarkers, I paper pieced the dress, tights and hair bow, then added Star Dust Stickles to the dandelion clocks and faux stitching round the edges of the topper.
The beautiful papers are Prima, Rosarian, such a stunning stack, I just love the colour combo.  One of the designs is a sheet of journaling tags, I cut one down and stamped a sentiment on with a Papermania stamp.  On one of the backing papers, I picked out part of the design with tiny gems for a bit of added sparkle.
Just under the topper, I created a panel of box pleating by joining two strips of paper together, scoring on my Hougie board and folding into shape.  I then taped into place, wound round some bakers twine and added a leaf shaped brad.
The final embellishments are some flowers and leaves made with punches and shimmer domes.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Sentimental Sundays - #160 - For the Girls
That Craft Place - Flowers
The Squirrel and the Fox - #46 - Use Something Metal, I used a brad
Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes
Totally Papercrafts - #172 - Flowers and Bows
Oldie but a Goodie - Stitching - my papers and stamp are both older stash
Clear it Out - Theme - Paper Piecing, Stash - Scrap Paper, I used up off-cuts for the piecing and the punched flowers
