Digi Haven DT Card - Our First Anniversary!

Digi Haven is a year old and to celebrate we are giving you seven chances to win with this fortnight's challenge!  Our theme this time is "Anything Goes", so all you need to do to play along is you any digi of your choice, pop on over to the challenge blog to check out all our fab and generous sponsors.  The DT were all lucky enough to be given an image from Beccy's Place, one of our sponsors for this challenge, I chose this beautiful birdhouse, which was a joy to colour with my Promarkers.

 I used two K&Co patterned papers and embossed the top one with a wood grain folder and inked it with Weathered Wood Distress Ink.  I covered the join with peach satin ribbon and some baker's twine and added a button topped bow.The doily tucked behind the image was a magazine freebie a while back, I thought it was the perfect colour for this project.  I matted everything up onto grey cardstock, adding a punched border made with an EK Success punch along the bottom of the topper, and I distressed all the edges for a shabby look.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards and I finished off my card with some blued trim and a peach, twine threaded button.
