Strawberry Tart

It was my lovely, crafty friend, Donna's, birthday yesterday, and she just happens to love strawberry tarts, so I decided to make her a birthday card in the shape one!
I made myself a template and cut the pieces from various sheets of cardstock.  The card base I made from cream card, into a tent fold shape.
The pastry case was passed through a paper crimper for texture, then gently inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink.  The sentiment and band are die cuts from Craftwork Cards, I jazzed it up a bit with a few weeny red gems.
The red topping was made from some swiss dotted card, which I covered in Anita's 3D Gloss for a shiny finish.
The piped cream was also hand cut, then slightly curved, and highlighted with Star Dust Stickles.
The strawberry on top was made with a Sizzix die, borrowed from my Mum, and decorated with yellow gel pen, yellow Stickles, yellow gems and a piece of green Card Candi.
