Bright Butterflies

I had a lovely lunch today with the Monday night crafters, including Secret Summer Santa.  We all enjoy it at Christmas so we decided to it on our summer outing too!  I got a pot of gilding wax and a tube of Liquid Pearls inside a beautifully Decoupatched box, what crafter wouldn't want to get that?!.  I remembered to take my camera but didn't remember to use it, so no pics of us stuffing our faces with yummy puds!
After I got home I made this summery, stamped card.
Most of this card was done by masking, either with a post-it note die cut into a circle, or strips of low tack masking tape, then randomly stamping four different butterflies from a Kaisercraft set in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks.
The sentiment stamps are both Papermania, the "Friend" sentiment being stamped in the same Distress Inks as the butterflies.
I used a Tonic border punch to add to the butterfly theme and die cut a butterfly using a Cuttlebug die.  The die also has matching embossing folders, I chose one, and inked it up with Perfect Medium, then after embossing, sprinkled on white embossing powder and heated to add detail to my butterfly embellishment.  I finished it off with pearls for it's body and a trail of gems.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Delicious Doodles - #48 - Butterflies
Cards Galore - Bingo - Sentiment, Die Cut, Embossing/Masks
Dutch Dare - #229 - Border Time
