CAS Masked Scene

I've been really enjoying making a few CAS cards lately, words I never thought I'd hear myself say!  I especially like using masking tape to mask off most of the card, leaving a strip exposed to get busy with ink and stamps, just as I've done here.
I used Distress Inks in Weathered Wood, Tumbled Glass and Peeled Paint, and applied them with dusting brushes and Cut and Dry foam.  I made simple masks from torn copy paper and a punched post-it note to created my simple scene.
The hedge and grass were stamped on with a Clarity stamp and the tree and sentiment are from a Stampin' Up set.  A narrow black mat was all that was needed to pull the card together, I decided against adding any embellishments, now that's something that doesn't happen very often!
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Come and Get It - CAS
Craft a Scene - Favourite Technique - Using Distress Inks, together with stamping and masking
Totally Papercrafts - #204 - CAS
4 Krafty Girls - #11 - Anything Goes
CRAFT - #245 - Get Well / Sympathy / Sorry
