Mirabelle Fairytale

Like half the crafting world, or so it seems, I too, have fallen for the new Santoro Mirabelle range, I recently treated myself to the 6x6 papers and this lovely stamp as little pick-me-up treat to myself while my hubby was in hospital.  That's it........so far.......

 The papers are exquisite, some glittered, some glazed, and others linen textured, they're not cheap, but they're worth every penny, the glittering on the rose paper doesn't show up at all in the photo, it's gorgeous in reality.
I coloured the stamp with my usual Promarkers, after stamping in Rich Cocoa Memento for a soft look.  After trimming to shape, I added a border of Platinum Stickles to the topper and matted it onto a frame cut with a Spellbinders Branching Out die.  The sentiment was stamped with a Personal Impressions stamp and die cut with a Spellbinders Floral Ovals die.
To embellish, I made rolled roses with Marianne dies, fussy cut butterflies from one of the glittered papers to use as embellies, added gold spider's web ribbon, cream organza ribbon with a large double bow, and finished with some dark, iridescent gems in the corners.
