I used some old SeeDees stamps for the sentiment, and to add the funky pattern round the edges of the topper, which I think adds to the 60s feel. The patterned paper is Papermania, Forever Friends Black and Gold, again I think it has a 60s vibe and the colour is a perfect match.
For the fabric element, I used some hessian down the right hand side, I made an organza flower, melting the edges of the layers with a candle flame to pucker the petals and fastening together with a brad, and I die cut some leaves from my own, handmade, pure merino wool felt with Blue Face Leicester curls. With the large topper and big flower, I didn't need any more embellishments. I must get into the habit of making more DL cards, I really enjoyed making this one, it's a size I often overlook in favour of a 6x6 or 5x7, but the long, thin topper suited this size well.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
