Cutie Pie DT Card - Bring on the Bling

We have a new challenge for you today at Cutie Pie, this time our theme is "Bring on the Cute Bling", and we're sponsored by Pink Gem.  We were all given Pink Gem images to play with, always a winner with me, as I'm on the Pink Gem design team!  I used Ice Cream Ellie for my card, colouring her with Promarkers.  I used some Shabby White Frantage powder round the edges of the topper, into which I sprinkled some Stampendous Shaved Ice to up the bling factor.  I also added a few gems to the flowers on Ellie's hat.

 The pretty papers are Papermania's latest installment in the Capsule Collection range, Eau de Nil; yes, more new papers, I have been a bit naughty on the paper purchasing front lately....... but they're so beautiful!  I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz tool, then added a generous line of Pinflair glue for glitter round all the edges and shook on plenty of Glamour Dust, this card really sparkles!
I added some wide lace and a double loop bow made from grosgrain ribbon, topped with a dazzler.  The ice cream embellishment was made with a Dovecraft punch that I picked up for £1 a couple of SECCs ago, and the final touch was to add some gem to the corners.
