Vintage Lady and Botanicals Paper

More new stash!  Yes, I know, I don't need any more paper, but I HAD to have the lovely new Docrafts goody bag with the Botanicals and Wild Rose Capsule Collection stuff in it.  In my defense, I didn't buy the Christmas goody bag, I have too much stuff that's very similar to the items in it, I did swither, I had my hand on it a few times, but I was a good girl.  I did, however, buy a gorgeous set of Xcut dies instead, you'll see them used in tomorrow's DT card.
I used the Botanicals paper for this card, it has some subtle sheets in the pack, as well as heavy designs, I used one of the subtle ones, along with an new Xcut embossing folder, which I picked up cheap in Hobby Craft, to make the base layer, I inked it with Fired Brick Distress Ink to emphasise the pattern.

 The image is a digi from A Day For Daisies, I coloured her with Promarkers, she was such a pleasure to colour, especial the contours of her face.  I added some Old Paper Distress Ink round the edge o the topper to take away the harshness of the bright white cardstock.  The sentiment is from Craftwork Cards.
I used Marianne dies to make the corner elements, a Nellie Snellen punch for the flowers, and added cream organza ribbon, layered with green adhesive lace from the goody bag, finishing with an organza bow.
