I Love Promarkers DT Card - Make Your Own Backing Paper

It's that time of the week when we start a new challenge at I Love Promarkers, this time our theme is "Make Your Own Backing Paper", and we're sponsored by Marianne and Squigglefly, the latter of which kindly gave the DT a selection of images to play with, I chose this quirky cupcake,  which I coloured, of course, with Promarkers.

 I used Distress Inks in Broken China, Salty Ocean, Worn Lipstick, and Picked Raspberry to create my background.  I splashed water over the blended inks and did a little water stamping with a cupcake stamp.  I also used a piece of pink Core'dinations card, and embossed it with a Cuttlebug swirl pattern folder, then gently sanded to highlight the design.
The sentiment was stamped with a stamp from a magazine freebie set, again coloured with Promarkers.
The only embellishment I added was some blue satin ribbon and a double loop bow.
