For Jack's Christening

Boy am I tired!  I was at the SECC at the weekend for my annual couple of nights away and colossal crafty spend up, and, when you have fibromyalgia it fairly takes it out of you!  I had a fabulous time though, just Mum and me this year, and we shopped 'til we dropped, in fact our suitcases were so heavy we could hardly lift them!  Now all I need is the energy to play with all my new goodies.  In the mean time, here's a christening card I made for my Dad's girlfriend, who's grandson, Jack, was christened at the weekend, she's going to give this card to her son and daughter in law.

 The image and sentiment are from a Buzzcraft stamp set, I've stamped them onto Neenah Desert Storm card and coloured with Promarkers, adding a tiny amount of white pencil for highlights.
The papers are First Edition, Up and Away, I love the colours and designs in this pack for baby boy cards, and some of the sheets are beautifully glittered too.  I found some blue lace in my stash that was a perfect colour match for these papers, and added some top and bottom, to the horizontal central band.  The bunting was made with a Stampin' Up punch, I added letters cut with a Quick Kutz alphabet set to the flags, to spell out the baby's name.
To embellish, I've added buttons, blue gems and a die cut heart and cross, both cut with Spellbinders dies.
