Forty and Fabulous

I can hardly believe it's been nearly a week since my last blog post, I just don't seem to have the energy to craft much at the moment, I'm having a flare up of my fibromyalgia that seems to have gone on for ages, and, unfortunately my blog has had to take a bit of a back seat.  Apologies for sporadic posting, hopefully Mr Mojo will make a return, along with my energy levels and enthusiasm soon, and normal service can be resumed!
Anyhooo........ today's card was a special order, for someone to give a lady for her 40th birthday.  The birthday girl loves bags and shoes, is very much a girly girl, and could I please put a bottle of vodka on it too.  My mind immediately went to these fabulous Xcut dies, which I borrowed from my Mum, they're perfect for girly makes with shoes and bags galore, and there's a bottle die in the set too.

 I rummaged in my stash and found a handbag shaped blank, which I thought would be the perfect base for this fun card.  The patterned papers are Papermania Happy Days, to which I've added various colours of plain card, glitter card, a touch of red Stickles and tag with a stamped greeting on.  I used a white gel pen to add the detail to the bottle labels and a Tea Green Promarker to shade the glass.
