Honesty

I've been playing with stencils again, layering them up mixed media style for this card.  I had great fun getting messy with inks, paint and Sparkle Medium.

 The first stencil I used was the Clarity, honesty one, I taped it down over a sheet of Gelli card and applied Distress Inks in Shaded Lilac, Dusty Concord and Picked Raspberry, with a Clarity dusting brush, then spritzed with water for a slightly mottled look.  Once dry, I applied a tiny amount of Royal Purple Sparkle Medium with Cut 'n' Dry Foam, just to catch the edges of the design.
The next stencil on was a spotty Clarity one, I simply sponged some silver acrylic paint through that.
The final stencil used was a That Special Touch, chevron design, through which I applied some Candyfloss Pink Sparkle Medium, in a rough, patchy way.
Once the piece was dry, I trimmed it down, matted it onto matte silver card, and popped it onto a 7x7 card blank, the corners of which I had dusted with Distress Ink to match those used in the main panel.
