Inky Fingers and Spring Colours

I finally got this beautiful die out of the packet and used it!  It's from Imagination Crafts, designed by Lavinia Stamps, and cuts like a dream.  I used Sheena Stamping Card for the die cut shape, then coloured it with Distress Markers and a paint brush, and backed it onto light green paper, adding a little Star Dust Stickles to the butterflies.
 To create the background, I used an Imagination Crafts stencil, which I inked with Shabby Shutters Distress Ink, spritzed with water, then ran through my Grand Caliber to transfer the ink.  I then cleaned and dried the stencil, laid it back of the the card, and used an ink dusting brush to add some Shaded Lilac Distress Ink to the white areas.
To embellish, I added some grosgrain ribbon and a bow, made some flowers with a selection of punches, and finished with a butterfly made with a Spellbinders die.
