I decided to make a Christmas wall hanging for my project, which I thoroughly enjoyed creating, I'm determined to make a few Christmas deccies this year.
The wreath stamp I used is from Woodware, I stamped it in Rich Cocoa Memento then coloured it with Promarkers. I then added some Eucalyptus Stickles to the greenery, some Glossy Accents to the hips, and some white Cosmic Shimmer PVA to the berries, which I covered with Glamour Dust while it was still wet. I then went round the edge of the topper with some Shabby Shutters Distress Ink.
The MDF frame for this came in two parts, a flat circle and and ring to overlay, so that the image could be glued to the base and the ring glued on over the top, making it nice and easy to use, not bad for a pound! I gilded with the frame with Flitter Glu and Indigo Blu gilding flakes (I'm not sure which ones, as I'd decanted them into a bigger container some time ago without noting the name) on the front of the frame, then, as luck would have it, my double sided tape was exactly the same width as the side of the frame, so I used that to gild the side, which did a great job of hiding the join.
To finish, I threaded baker's twine through the pre-drilled hole to create a hanging loop, and decorated with a button topped, layered bow and a couple of red berries.
