A Gem of a Challenge DT Card - Love Is In The Air

It's challenge time once again at A Gem of a Challenge, this time our theme is "Love Is In The Air".
I've used one of Janet's new digis from the Pink Gem shop, it's called Charlie With Rose, and I've coloured him with Promarkers.  As soon as I saw him I just had to get my pens out and play, isn't he just the cutest?!  Check out the Pink Gem store for more new doggie digis and printables.
 The papers are from Lili of the Valley, and are, appropriately enough for this challenge, called Always and Forever.  I added in some pink cardstock for matting and distressed all the edges for a soft, shabby look.
To embellish, I added some layered organza and satin ribbon, a matching button topped bow, some heart shaped pearls, some paper roses, a die cut flourish and leafy frond, both cut with Marianne dies, and a sentiment stamped with a Dovecraft stamp and fussy cut.  I coloured the heart in the middle of the sentiment with a Worn Lipstick Distress Marker, then covered the heart with some Glossy Accents for shine and dimension.

As You Like It - One Layer or Multi Layer - I like multi layer best because it gives me a chance to use lots of pretty papers.  I'm such a sucker for a pack of pretty paper, you wouldn't believe how many I have, but shhhhh..... don't tell my husband how many I've bought!
