Joy Fold Birthday Card

It's a joy fold card today, made with lots of pretty papers and a stand at the back so that the recipient can get the full effect of the card on the mantlepiece.

The papers are all First Edition, from a pack called Blank Canvas, some have a fabric texture, some are glittered and some are double sided.  It's a beautiful stack, I love the colour combo and pretty prints, I've managed to incorporate a fair few of them into this card!
I used a Sue Wilson die set to make the front panel, all cut from papers from the same First Edition paper pack.  Even although the foliage die is very fine, it cuts like a dream.  I added some blobs of Nuvo Crystal Drops in Buttermilk for the blossom centres and used a Quickie glue pen and Glamour Dust on the butterfly.  The sentiment was stamped with a Papermania stamp from a set I recently treated myself to.
To finish off, I added a peach lace bow and some glass dew drops in the corners.

I made a little gift box to go with this card, to pop a pretty necklace inside as a birthday present.  It was made with a die cut box, bow and foiled panel from the latest Papermania Capsule Collection A4 Ultimate Pack, which is in the current Docrafts goody bag.  All I added was a punched flower and foliage made with scraps left from making the card.
