Kitty Bee DT Project - Valentines / Love

It's the halfway point at Kitty Bee for our Valentines / Love challenge, so it's time for me to share my DT project, which is a gift bag rather than a card this time.  We're sponsored by Star Stampz and Julia Spiri this time, both of whom gave the DT some lovely images to play with, I chose this super cute Julia Spiri digi called The Teddy and Gift, which I coloured with my ever faithful Promarkers.

 I made the bag using my We Are Memory Keepers Gift Bag Punch Board, and a sheet of Papermania Craft Collection paper, which, if you look closely, you'll see has tiny hearts on it, making it perfect for our theme.  I added some blue ribbon for handles, using one continuous loop rather than two separate pieces.  The punch board is really easy to use and has been a good investment, it's very satisfying making your own little bags rather than just decorating them.
I used Spellbinders dies to cut the fancy shapes on the front, they're the gold ones that do a bit of letterpressing too.
To embellish, I added a button topped double  bow, a sentiment stamped with a Lili of the Valley stamp, a flourish cut with a Marianne die, and a crochet flower topped with a large blue gem.
