Ruffled Ribbon

Yesterday was Monday so it was craft night with the girlies.  No home baking due to my sore shoulder this week but at least I can craft again!  Woohoo!  We had to make do with some Quality Streets to go with our tea!
We all made stepper cards using the score board which came free with Papercraft Inspirations.  I have both the Ultimate Pro and the Hougie board but this freebie has score lines for a cute wee stepper card made from A5 card.
I made the card from Hunkydory cardstock which has a delicate lace pattern printed on it in very pale shades of lilac.  The decoupage topper is also Hunkydory and was already slightly glittered but I couldn't resist adding a bit of Diamond Stickles round the edge.
My ribbon fetish knows no bounds on this card with ruffles made from three different ribbons held in place with high tack DST.
The little flowers were made with an Xcut punch and given dimention with an embossing tool before being highlighted with more Diamond Stickles.
A liberal smattering of gems, pearls and a double bow are the finishing touches.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Hooked on Craft - more than one fold
The Crafter's Cafe - #2 - ribbon and/or lace
Hotshot Crafts - ribbon

  1. Love all the soft colours on this one and the sparkles just add that touch of glitz - very pretty ribbon too.
