Summer Splodges!

I've been at the Distress Ink and shimmer spray again, along with a bit of Frantage and glitter, to make this vibrant and summery card.
The background of the topper was done by applying Distress Inks in Squeezed Lemonade, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Worn Lipstick, Wild Honey and Mustard Seed, with the applicator tool, then spritzing with water and drying with a heat tool.  I then used a stencil that came free with a magazine to add the design, inking through with Picked Raspberry, and once again spritzing with water to soften the edges, and drying with a heat tool.  Next, I gave a good spritz with a Comic Shimmer spray in a lovely teal colour.
Inking done, I moved onto the edges of the topper, and used Stampendous Shabby Rose embossing enamel, with some Gold Halo Mix glitter sprinkled over, and heat embossed.  This done, I wraped some blue eyelash fibre, blue grosgrain ribbon and two tone pink ribbon round the topper and matted it onto a card blank that I'd cover with some magazine freebie paper.
The flourish was cut with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die from acid yellow satin board and embellished with yellow gems, Cosmic Shimmer gold PVA, and two butterflies stamped with Kaisercraft stamps and fussy cut.
The flower was made with Spellbinders Rose Creations dies, from white paper coloured with Distress Ink in Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Squeezed Lemonade, along with a spritz of Cosmic Shimmer spray.
To finish off, I added some twine threaded buttons and some yellow gems.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -

4 Crafty Chicks - #145 - Flowers
Flutterby Wednesday - #243 - Open
