Snow Bears

I love this super cute Lili of the Valley stamp, I've had it a few years now but I never tire of colouring it, which I've done with my usual Promarkers, with a little Star Dust Stickles for sparkle.
 The papers and ribbon are from Papermania's new Christmas in the Country range, I've used the 12x12 pack from the latest Docrafts goody bag, and I've inked all the edges with Tea Dye Distress Ink.  The snowflake border was done with a Martha Stewart punch, I layered the punched panel onto white card so the snowflake design wouldn't be lost against the plaid paper.
The sentiment is from Craftwork cards, I bought a bargain bundle of 500 assorted sentiments for £5, you can't say fairer than that!
To finish off, I die cut three snowflakes with the smallest die in my new set of Diesire snowflake dies.  They were a bit of a nightmare to remove from the die once cut, even using baking parchment, I might have to invest in some waxed paper for these.  I'm hoping the larger dies will release a little better, I haven't tried them yet, but they look really pretty.  I added some clear gems to the snowflakes for some more festive glisten.

    Lovely card Wendy, such a sweet image, great design, love all your little embellishments.

    I find using the waxed paper from inside a cereal packet is just as good if not better than the expensive roll of waxy paper, and having a wee one around I would think you've got plenty, give it a go, before you buy, have a good day, Kate xx
