A close friend asked me to make a card for her three sons, aged eight, six and four months to give their granny, or Oma, as they call her, for her sixtieth birthday, so I made this card with three bears on to represent the three boys.
It's a large, 8x8 card, using my Forever Friends Kraft Notes A4 Ultimate pack, it needed to be big to accommodate the large bears, the decoupage elements in this pack are all generously sized. I chose three separate decoupage toppers, as well as tags, a sentiment, a border strip and little die cut elements. The papers are all from the pack and were inked with Tea Dye Distress Ink. The bunting was made with a Stampin' Up punch, I threaded the triangles onto baker's twine and added sticker letters from the A4 pack. I added some ribbon from the same range for a bit of texture, a small pink bow, and a few blue gems for a touch of sparkle.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Love to Create - #73 - Ribbon and Bling
The Crazy Challenge - #149 - Without Stamps
