We have a new challenge for you today at
Fussy and Fancy, this time our theme is "Back to School". The schools in Inverness went back on Tuesday, I can't believe how quickly the holidays flew by this year. My husband is a depute head in a primary school, it's a teaching post though, so for my DT project, I decided to make a hanging sign for his classroom door.
I used the largest of my Spellbinders grand circles to create the sign, and decorated it with some ancient 12x12 school themed papers. The cute little bird id a digi, but I can't remember where he came from, he's been coloured with my usual Promarkers. The giant pencil was simply made from pieces of cardstock, with a computer generated name tag stuck on. So that the sign could be hung up, I set two eyelets near the top, then tied on some cord in a loop, using slip knots.
My husband was rather pleased with it, even though it says "math" instead of "maths" on the textbooks! Apparently, he teaches in Scotland, not America.
