Meadow Wall Hanging

More from my Imagination Crafts stash, this time a wall hanging made using my favourite IC stencil, Bay Leaf.
The top layer of the main panel is a piece of acetate with Sparkle Medium, in two colours, stenciled on, using the Bay Leaf stencil.
The bottom layer was created with Distress Inks in Salty Ocean and Shabby Shutters, misted with water to blend.  Once dry, I used the same stencil with Cut and Dry foam, and Mowed Lawn and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks, again misting with water to diffuse the hard edges.  Once that had dried, I stamped some foliage in Shabby Shutters with a Sheena Douglass, A Little Bit Sketchy stamp.  I then glued the inked piece onto heavy mount board, laid the acetate on top and set eyelets in place to secure the layers together.
I used DMC Desire Wire and some beads to make the hanging loop, and I added an assortment of ribbon, twine and fibres to the eyelets at the bottom as a decorative feature.

I'm entering this project in the following challenges -
Simply Create Too - #61 - Anything But a Card
Milk Coffee - Anything But a Card
Creative Moments - #43 - Anything Goes, Optional Add Twine - I used baker's twine mixed with the ribbon at the bottom of the hanging
Country View Crafts - #15 - Nature's Glories
Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Botanical
Speedy Fox and Friends - #212 - No Designer Paper
