I Love Promarkers DT Card - Inspiration Picture

We have a fun new challenge for you at I Love Promarkers today, this week we have cheerful picture for you to take inspiration from for your entries.  We're sponsored this time by Polka Doodles.

 I think there's plenty of inspiration to be found in this picture, I went with the colour combo of yellow, blue and green, picked out the little birds on the bridge and echoed the whimsical style for my card.  I'm really looking forward to seeing how many different takes on this picture we get this week, the DT certainly came up with totally different ideas to each other, based on this image!

 The cute digi image was a freebie from Lia Stampz quite a while ago, I've been meaning to use it for ages but never got round to it, until now.  It has, of course, been coloured with Promarkers, I then added some Waterfall Stickles to the flower petals, Glossy Accents to the leaves, a tiny button to the flower centre, and teeny, tiny black pearls for beady eyes.  The sentiment stamp was a Pink Petticoat magazine freebie from many moons ago, again coloured with Promarkers.
The blue paper is Papermania Capsule Collection in Blueberry Pie, to which I've added some green cardstock and a Spots and Stripes Capsule Collection die cut tag, some faux stitching adds interest to the simple layout, as does the leafy strip, made with a Martha Stewart punch.
To embellish, I die cut a flower with a Spellbinders die, and topped it with a button, added some Papermania silk ribbon, which crushes beautifully, to make a shabby bow, and finished with some blue gems.
