Party Girl

I dug out an old favourite Strawberry Kisses stamp for this card, coloured with my beloved Promarkers and highlighted with Glossy Accents and Star Dust Stickles.  To create the border on the topper, I added a line of Cotton Candy Stickles all the way round, then sprinkled on clear glass micro beads, to give the effect of the coloured sugar frosting you sometimes get round the top of cocktail glasses.
I just love this sweet stamp, I've coloured it so many times, but I never get bored of it, the sentiment is from the same stamp set.  The cat reminds me so much of a British Tipped I used to have, called Ermine, who was probably stupid enough to sit in an over sized cocktail!

 The papers I've used are My Mind's Eye, Quite Contrary, to which I've added pink cardstock.  I used a Spellbinders Splendid Circles die to cut the fancy circle shape and an EK Success punch for the paw print border.
To embellish, I made a flower with a Woodware punch, leaves with a Marianne die, added some satin ribbon with a bow, and finished with some pink pearls.

As You Like It - Your 2 Favourite Embellishments and Why - I love bows, especially multi loop bows, I have a ribbon fixation, my craft room is filled with reels and reels of the stuff, I love that it comes in so many pretty colours, satin, organza, printed.......I also love handmade flowers, I prefer to make my own with punches or dies, or sometimes just tearing, rather than buying them, it gives me a sense of satisfaction and they then match my project perfectly.
