Pink Gem kindly supplied the DT with digis for this challenge, I've used the super sweet Angelica with Snowman, which I've coloured with Promarkers.
I covered a card blank with purple paper, then die cut a piece of dark purple card, the same size as the blank, with my Memory Box Frostyville Border die, down the right hand side. I then sprayed the die cut piece with iridescent Spray and Sparkle, and matted a piece of Lili of the Valley Woodland Wishes paper on to it, followed by the coloured topper.
To embellish, I layered some purple Christmas Anita's ribbon over some silver, sparkly, tufty, fibrey stuff, that I found a reel of, topped with a bow. I also stamped a sentiment in Dusty Concord Distress Ink, using a Papermania Home for Christmas stamp, punched some snowflakes with a Nellie Snellen punch, and finished with assorted purple gems, and doodled, dotted border on the plain purple paper.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
The Glory of Christmas - #44 - Snowman
We Do Doobadoo - #16 - Christmas
Craft for the Craic - #9 - Something Suitable for a Child
Fab 'n' Funky - #232 - Anything with Ribbon
Scrapper's Delights - #33 - Anything Goes or Monochrome
As You Like It - Favourite Fibre and Why - Mine is ribbon, I love satin, grosgrain, velvet, saddle stitch, any ribbon! I have reels and reels of the stuff, printed and plain, in every colour under the sun. I love tying it in bows, often multi loop bows and I have so many colours that I can match it to almost any project.
