Seeing Red!

I made this card for my Mum, who has broken her arm, right up near her shoulder, so it can't be plastered.  She's in a collar and cuff sling, is in a lot of pain and unable to do anything for herself at the moment.
As you can see, I've been playing with Brusho paints again.  I'm really enjoying experimenting with them, I mixed some up and spattered it onto the card to create the background, and for the flowers, I sprinkled the dry powder on to card and sprayed with water.  The flowers were stamped before painting with Tonic Pick of the Bunch stamps, using black archival ink.  Once the paint was dry, I went in Spectrum Noir pencils round the flower heads to add a little shadow, to make the flowers pop.
The banners were cut with Sue Wilson dies, the sentiment was stamped with a Stampin' Up stamp, and I finished off with a twine threaded button.  I didn't add many embellishments as the painted panel is so busy and bright.
I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Crafty Sentiments - Bright Colours
Fan-Tastic Tuesday - #77 - Make It Square
Shopping Our Stash - #193 - I Made This
Through the Purple Haze - #82 - For Your Mum / Special Lady - For my Mum, who's broken her arm
