A Gem of a Challenge DT Card - Flowers

It's challenge time again at A Gem of a Challenge, and this time our theme is "Flowers", so nice and easy to play along.  I've used the super cute Poppy With Poinsettias for my card, going with a Christmas theme; I'm trying to get ahead with my Crimbo cards and there are so many lovely festive images available from Pink Gem, I'm spoiled for choice.
 I coloured the image with Promarkers, adding Glamour Dust to the fur trim for a bit of sparkle.
The papers are Kaisercraft, a magazine freebie from last year, to which I've added some navy pearl card, a green doily, and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
To embellish, I added some poinsettias made with Nellie Snellen punches, with micro bead centres, ivy made with a Joanna Sheen Signature die, pearls and and some crochet lace, held in place with bronze coloured staples.

    What a cutie! I especially like the vintage palette of the background... the old lace, the browns and muted reds in the Poinsettias - some beautiful stuff there Wendy! Thank you for sharing your project and creativity at Aud Sentiments!
