A Gem of a Challenge DT Card - Celebrate Something New

We're back with the first challenge of the year at A Gem of a Challenge, this fortnight our theme is "Celebrate Something New".  I decided to make a new home card as my DT project, using Snail Home from the Pink Gem store, which I coloured with Promarkers and added some paper piecing for the shell.
The patterned papers are Papermania, Hot Diggedy Dog, to which I added some black card for matting.  They've been in my stash of ages but I still like the pretty pastel colours, and they make a nice change from all the Christmas papers I've been using recently.
To embellish, I added a sentiment stamped with a Lili of the Valley stamp, and I made a large flower with my Heartfelt Creations, Enchanted Mums die, and foliage with Sue Wilson Petite Vines dies.  The flower centre was made a lovely micro bead and glitter mix from Stix 2 Anything.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
Crafty Calendar - Something New
Sweet Stampin' - Something New
Brown Sugar - #232 - Anything Goes
Simply Create Too - #123 - New Beginnings
Craft Rocket - #30 - Something New
Crafty Sentiments - Something New
Passion For Promarkers - #367 - Anything Goes

I Love Promarkers DT Card - Snowmen

It's time for a new challenge at I Love Promarkers, this fortnight our theme is "Snowmen" and we're sponsored by Coll Art (Letraset).
I decided to use an old Papermania stamp from the Tulip collection, which is great fun to colour with Promarkers as there is so much detail.  The snap on fine nibs do come in handy for this one!  I added some white Nuvo Drops sprinkled with Glamour Dust for all the snowy detail and stuck on a few sequins to up the bling factor.
The rather sweet snowman paper is from a Trimcraft pack called Santa's Workshop, I just added in some festive red card for matting.  The trees were stamped with Heartfelt Creations stamps and cut out with matching dies.
To embellish, I added some gingham ribbon, and a bow threaded with a ribbon slider.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -

Potted Poinsettia Card

Mum and I had a crafty play with my Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia stamp and die sets, last Saturday; here's what I made, a shaped pot plant card.
I cut a plant pot shape into a 6x6 card blank, it has a top fold and little card hinges inside to stop it opening too far.  I covered the blank with some gorgeous First Edition Gilded Winter paper that has a subtle snowflake design on, cut an extra pot rim for dimension, inked all the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, and added a length of the most beautiful Hobby Craft glittery lace just under the pot rim.  A tag made with a Papermania stamp and inked to match finishes the pot.
The flowers were made, as mentioned above, with Heartfelt Creations Sparkling Poinsettia stamp and die sets.  I used cherry red pearl card for the flower heads, Amarillo pearl paper for the stamens, and Emerald card for the foliage, all from Anna Marie Designs, and I shaped all the blooms with my Susan's Garden Sizzix flower shaping tool kit.

I'm entering this card in the following challenges -
