Forest Friends

A Christmas card today, featuring a beautiful Penny Black stamp called Forest Friends, coloured, as usual, with my Promarkers.

I used Xcut Build a Scene and Woodland Flourish dies, along with a ton of Creative Expressions Iced Snow glitter, and a Papermania sentiment stamp to create this simple card.
I was totally covered with glitter by the time I'd finished making this card, but I think it was worth it because I quite like how it turned out, white on white cards always appeal to me and I think they are especially lovely at Christmas time.

A Christmas Bear Hug

A Christmas card today, using one of my fave Christmas colour combos, red, white and kraft. I dug out one of my old Penny Black stamps, called Bear Hug, for this one, colouring it with my Promarkers, highlighting with a touch of Star Dust Stickles.

The spots and stripes card is from Anna Marie Designs, to which I've added kraft card for matting, stamping and heat embossing a sentiment with a Papermania stamp, directly onto one of the mats.
To embellish, I added some kraft coloured ribbon with a matching bow, some snowflakes cute with Sweet Dixie dies from glitter card and topped with red gems, and some home made Card Candi, made with a small Xcut circle punch and an embossing tool, as I didn't have any real Candi in the right colour.
