Daffodil Gift Bag

Last night was craft night with the girls and we all made these triangular gift bags.  My shoulder has improved enough to bake again so we had some blueberry, lemon and mint drizzle cake before we got crafting.
The gorgeous daffodil image is one of Ruth's new images from A Passion for Stamps.  It's so beautifully drawn and is a joy to colour.  As a SAD sufferer, daffodils herald the arrival of more daylight, hence why I love them so much.  My favourites are the yellow ones with peachy orange centres like the one I've coloured here.
The box was made with Xcut nesting pennant dies, scalloped and plain, with a card gusset to make the sides.  The papers are Papermania Capsule Collection in Lemon Sorbet.  A ribbon handle and some gems finish it off.
I'm making three of these so Robbie can give them to his teachers and classroom assistant as an Easter gift.  I've popped some Easter chocolates inside, yum!
Although we all made the same boxes, they all looked so different as everyone decorated them in different ways.  We had stamped images and die cut flowers in a lovely selection of colours, they all looked beautiful.  I love seeing everyone's take on the same theme and I'm always amazed by how different they all look.
I'm entering this project in the following challenges -
Craft Your Passion - #103 - monochrome
Daisy Doodles - #56 - spring
Creative Craft Challenges - anything but a card
