Christmas Gatefold

Tuesday mornings chez Fraser are Christmas card making sessions with the crafty girlies.  This week, after tea and homebake, we all made gatefold cards.
The papers I used are from Wild Rose Studios and were a magazine freebie last year.  The papers are gorgeous in the contemporary colours of red, green, purple and mauve and also had some cute Milton Bear characters which, as you get three sheets of each paper, I was able to cut out and decoupage up.  I always struggle to use precoloured  images but by decoupaging, adding some Anita's 3D Gloss to the noses, beads to the eyes and a liberal sprinkling of Glamour Dust, I was quite happy with the finished result.

Inside, I made a little pocket from cardstock and paper which I stuck down with foam pads so that the tag is easy to pull out and push in.  The tag was simply made from card with an eyelet for some ribbon and I stuck a cute character, which had been accented as above, to both the pocket and tag.
Well, that's another Christmas card made and some older stash used up!
